1. Click on the "Research" button on the green TitleZ menu bar.
2. Type in any keyword, title or author in the search box, then hit the green arrow.
Hint: keep the number of terms you use in a keyword search relatively short—one to three words if possible. TitleZ’s search capabilities are all dependent on Amazon’s search technology, and theirs appears to have difficulty with long phrases.
3. TitleZ will return the top 20 results for that keyword, title, or author—based on the current Amazon rank.
Hint: Click “Show More” to get 20 additional titles at a time.
4. Click on the green triangle next to a title of interest.
You will get a report including:
- The book cover
- Sales rank history of that title—7 day average, 30 day average, 90 day average, and “lifetime” average (lifetime is since listing date at Amazon or November 1, 2004—whichever is later).
- Chart of the sales rank history
- Button to take you directly to the Amazon page with that title
- Button to prepare a “Printable Report.”
Hint: Run your cursor over the chart to see the sales rank for any given day.
5. Click button “Printable Report.”
You will get a TitleZ title report which you can easily print that includes:
- title, author, publisher, pub date, list price, ISBN
- Average user rating at Amazon
- Chart of sales rank history enlarged.
Hint: Remember, TitleZ reports sales rankings, so the lower the number, the better!

7. If the title is of particular interest to you, click the "Save" button to save the title to your personal "My TitleZ," a section on TitleZ where you can store and track titles over time. To access My TitleZ, click the "My TitleZ" button in the green navigation bar on the left of the page.
8. If you'd like to compare up to five titles, side-by-side, check the box in the "Compare" column on the right-side of the page for each title you'd like to compare, then click the "Compare" button at the bottom of the column.
